Bands: System Error Please Reboot, Ulrikes Dream, Plague Thirteen

Ulrikes Dream played in Au Bout de Nos Rêves in Tournai for the second time. The last time was in january 2023 with Call The Cops. This time they played with Plague Thirteen and a rather new band called System Error Please Reboot. It was very hot. The first band (SEPR) had a singer, a guitarplayer and a drummer. They played mostly their own material, but also a couple of covers by bands like The Runaways and Agnostic Front. It was their third show, the drummer said. Ulrikes Dream played second. The alarm was turned off so they could use the smoke machine. They opened with “Nachtmerrie in de Wetstraat”, this time without the intro-tune and got the crowd dancing. Plague Thirteen played last. They used Selle’s drumkit to avaooid another drum changeover. They played a tight set, but because of the heat a lot of people stayed outside. When the shows were over, Pierre asked if it was OK if the bands closed the venue so he could go to another concert 10km from “Au Bout de Nos Rêves“.

10-06-2023, Welschap DIY Fest – Eindhoven

Ulrikes Dream played a show during Welschap DIY Fest. The festival was held on a squatted terrain full of campers, caravans and tents. There was a diy market and over ten bands.

This is the chronology. Clock010 was replaced last minute by Toprot.

It was a very hot day. The shows were in a tent.

Azijnpisser had just relleased their album (“cold cuts”), released on Loner Cvlt Records, the label Nico Peeters and Rik Pelgrims (Travolta) run. They played a brutal show. Locura had some tehnical difficulties in the beginning but got the crowd moshing as well.

Ulrikes Dream played around 23h. There had been moshpits all day during the shows of great bands like Locura, Azijnpisser… and during the first song UD played someone flew into the gear… This was the first time Ulrikes Dream and Donder, Hel & Hagel played together. That is why the UD set is shortened. Donder, Hel & Hagel played about 45 minutes and an encore.

Open Veins, a band from the US, played the last night of their tour.

Lik De Kikker closed the night. They had a massive load of new props and had to conquer some issues with the power supply before the shows…
